Eye expressions are magnificent! The eyes can tell you so much about a persons demeanor. They express what's on the inside without saying a word. I guess that's why the eyes are the mirror into the soul, but the eyes can also tell us about health conditions.
The beautiful thing about the eyes are that even when their closed at night they can take us to certain places and spaces. For those who know how to quantum leap during sleep, kudos to you. The eyes help us imagine endless possibilities.
See it, believe it and then go achieve it!
Fire In Her Eyes
Losing the fire in our eyes isn't a horrible thing for a woman of a particular age. Midlife doesn't have to be gloom and doom, but all those years of a complicated marriage, caretaking the kids or maybe parents, requires breaks! Even my beautiful overachieving boss ladies, they're freaking tired, but must maintain what was started. Honestly, what would a break look like to you considering your circumstances? A few hours, a day or an entire weekend. When breaks aren't taken we lose a little bit of pizzazz in the eyes. Believe me I get it! WE ARE TOO BUSY TO TAKE BREAKS!. The only cost for being too busy to take a break is that energy gets shifted, tossed and turns into possibly a neck, back or headache. Here's the weird part about eye expressions, they change according to our present state of mind.
The eyes have it!
Yes, the eyes can be an alert to sound the alarm to let us know when something is wrong. The eyes have so many looks, and we try to read people by their eye expressions. If you want to know if someone is lying, your gut will tell you, but also looking into the eyes of the person is a great way to see a lie. How much do you focus on your eyes?
Interpreting how you're feeling by looking into the mirror with intention can be a fun game. Since you're going to use the bathroom anyway get in there and stare at your eyes in the mirror. If we wake up in the morning not in the best mood, take a few minutes to do some eye expressions to alter your mood.
One of my selfcare duties is looking in the mirror throughout the day to smile at myself.
