Francene Marie has experience in second careers. The mom of 2 adult children, serial crafter, home chef and former fragrance model for Muhamad Ali. She's reached over 2 decades in broadcasting as award-winning radio talk show host. She enjoys teaching and sharing with future podcasters, and writes communication curricula for various learning institutions. In 2006 between a layoff and a come-back Francene Marie rebranded as the Esteem Enhancer, media trainer and personal growth facilitator for My New Strut Pop-up Pep-Talks.
Francene Marie's radio career took off after humble beginnings as a receptionist which led to being assistant to GM/Market Manager for top 40 radio station in Charlotte, North Carolina. Finally getting a chance to cut her teeth with one CBS radio microphone for Kiss 95.1 soon transitioned into a second station WKQC-FM, now airing on six Beasley Media Group outlets. The syndicated host airs weekly covering community conscious issues within hour packed show for a varied demographic.
The audience enhancer, narrator, voice talent and stage performer has kissed a few cameras as fill-in anchor on WCCB-TV, with PBS and CBS. Francene Marie says's, "At 9-years old I had a feeling somebody would hire me in the media field by default due to my one-girl comedic backyard performances neighbors were forced to attend."
Known as the Esteem Enhancer on the speaking circuit, Morris creates relaxing vocal recordings for clients via the Esteem Café. She’s the humorous survivor of raising 2 children born 17 years apart steering both into the Arts & Sciences.
